Teaching Drama can be a lonely job, and there are many one-person departments bravely struggling on, desperate for a shoulder to lean on or someone to bounce ideas off. Some of the most common questions I am asked are about practical pieces for exams or auditions: everyone wants something different, but there is just never the time to read all the plays out there and filter what works and what doesn't. Let me take the strain and do the hard graft for you. Casting should NEVER be about what is easiest for the teacher, but about what makes the learner 'shine' in their own particular way. "How do I direct...?" is another common question, and most teachers are perfectly capable of delivering dazzling productions, but just need a helping hand at first. Whatever your query, be it practical or theoretic, rehearsal or performance, how to set up vocational exams or a public exam worry, I can help. And if I can't: you don't pay!
