BOTTOM the weaver and FLUTE the bellows-mender are playing PYRAMUS and THISBE in a play which has been rehearsed for the wedding celebrations of THESEUS and HIPPOLITA.  PYRAMUS and THISBE are separated by the orders of their families and a wall (played by SNOUT) and in this scene, they attempt to come together.
