Enter BUCKINGHAM, led to his execution.  He had previously helped his cousin RICHARD to rise from DUKE of GLOUCESTER to KING (via murder, slander and intrigue), but then turned away from him after a pang of conscience when he realised that RICHARD had his nephews KING EDWARD V and RICHARD DUKE of YORK murdered.  As a result of this ‘disloyalty’ RICHARD has ordered BUCKINGHAM’s execution.
