QUEEN ELIZABETH is bewailing the imminent death of her husband KING EDWARD IV when RICHARD of GLOUCESTER enters.  ELIZABETH is aware that, although loyal to her husband, RICHARD if GLOUCESTER has a strong dislike of her own family, who were loyal to the previous royal house of Lancaster.  This is a bitter exchange which foreshadows a later scene in which RICHARD attempts to seduce ELIZABETH in place of her daughter.
