KING RICHARD has been visited by the ghosts of his victims the night before the Battle of Bosworth Field, which will see him defeated and killed by HENRY, EARL of RICHMOND.  Throughout the play, RICHARD has lied, cheated, betrayed, murdered and stolen in order to bring himself to the throne.   For the first time, he shows his real vulnerability, as he is made to face his actions by his many victims.
