MACDUFF – whose family were murdered by MACBETH – has defeated and killed MACBETH. As the assembled LORDS pay homage to MALCOLM, the son of the KING DUNCAN (murdered by MACBETH and his wife) as their new King, MACDUFF enters with MACBETH’s head. MALCOLM gives this speech to his supporters and the assembled crowd.
