The famous opening speech of RICHARD III, in which RICHARD – currently DUKE of GLOUCESTER – recounts the battles he has been through with his brothers.  RICHARD shares with the audience how he is now ready to take advantage of his older brother’s ill-health (KING EDWARD IV) and manipulate him to put the middle brother (GEORGE DUKE of CLARENCE) to death so that RICHARD can clear a path to the throne for himself.
