TITANIA, the Queen of the Fairies is asleep in her fairy bower with BOTTOM the weaver, who has had his head turned into that of a donkey.  On the orders of OBERON (King of the Fairies) PUCK has placed a love potion in TITANIA’s eyes so that she will fall in love with the first thing she sees (BOTTOM).  Her attendants PEASEBLOSSOM, COBWEB, MOTH and MUSTARDSEED are waiting on BOTTOM.
